Miguel Soler, together with his brother Javier is owner and kiteboarding instructor at WindBay Kiteboarding School. Miguel has been kiteboarding sincer he was a kid on the windy beaches of Cabarete. He is a fully certified and insured IKO level 2 instructor since 2005.
When he is not teaching kitesurfing at WindBay Kiteboarding or ripping the waves, Miguel is participating as a volunteer in the DREAM Project. He is teaching Dominican kids the basics of the sport and helping them become kiteboarding assistants and instructors, giving them a chance to have an exciting career in this amazing sport.
Miguel is also known as a party animal in Cabarete, so if you’re looking for some fun and excitement while in Cabarete, he’s the man to talk to.

WindBay Kiteboarding manager and IKO certified instructor Miguel Soler is participating in the DREAM Project as a volunteer teaching kiteboarding lessons to Dominican kids.
The IKO will give out IKO Assistant Instructor packs for free for the kids that are over 15 so that they can train as Assistants in 6 months time (once they know how to kite), giving them the opportunity to get a job as assistant instructors in IKO affiliated centers in Cabarete. The DREAM Project has been launched on the 31st of March, 2008 in Cabarete, Dominican Republic.
